central heating at home?

need some help,when i turn the heating on the gas valve turns off after a minute,seems ok before i turn it on though,pilot light stays on untill its turned on and the flames rise up then click after a minute back to squire one.the model no 552) gc-44-077-50 thanks

The pilot injector may need cleaned. No overheat thermostat on this boiler.

It's a Baxi Bermuda 552 Back Boiler Gas Council reference 44-077-50.

If the burner shuts off after a short period it might be that the circulating pump is not moving the water away from the heat exchanger and an overheat thermostat is triggering - but I know nothing about boilers - call an engineer, preferably an older one.
