Hi my tumble dryer will only work if I can assist the drum in turning first. If I don't it just hums and does nothing. Is this an easy repair? Can we fix it?

Can you fix it?.YES you can.there is a capacitor attached to the motor and this it used to start the motor rotating.If it is weak it will not rotate and drum will hum unless you help it.2 wires to disconnect and reconnect to the new capacitor and held on with a 13mm nut.simple
