i have a classic citroen. back window has come unstuck, how do i fix it?

back window has dropped out of my citroen normal. how do i fix it

i think it was stuck in originally with some sort of mastic but dunno what sort. now the effects of heat then wet and cold seem to have loosened it and it dropped off. It was originally stuck directly to the metal. what should i be using??
