how do i change the turn signal switch in a 93 dodge shadow?

i need to know how to change the turn signal switch in the steering colom in a 1993 dodge shadow. non of the turn signals work and the brake lights do not work. could there be any other problem besides the turn signal switch

No it sounds about right that a turn signal switch has gone bad if there is nothing else to be found........the only thing left is the turn signal switch and it controls the brake lites also ...
You`ll need to pull steering wheel and will need a plate depressor for the steering wheel lock ........the turn signal switch is under this ...3 srews hold it in ...will need to disconnect turn signal lever ect. unplug old switch at bottom of colum and put a wire on it so it can be pulled up with the botttom of wiring harness on switch ......after pulling switch out of colum attach wire to new switch and pull new harness thru colum ..you will have to be pateint because it might take awhile tryin to get it thru...if you hav a tilt colum try moving it up and down while pulling on wire at bottom of colum ....after you get the wire thru just reasemble like you took it apart //make sure c clip is in good with the plate depressor also on most steering wheel will only go back on one way ...its should be notched ......
