What makes you think your XM needs a n/o detector, it does not.
Wire the detector using the 6 wires forgetting the LED connection

led

Micro PIR:1=13+ve,2=-ve,3&4=n/c,5&6TT,7=led

i think the problem is the optima xm6 has n/o contacts and the micro PIR has n/c contacts.is there any way round this because manual says there are n/o and n/c contacts?

So you've worked out what 6 are, 2x 12v, 2x Alarm and 2x Tamper.

What is #7 marked as then, it's in the manual?
