been told by a mechanic that it sounds like dirt in the carb but how do i clean it without having to put it in the garage.

take off 2 bolts holding carb to engine. turn carb upsidedown.remove 4 screws to take float bowl off(bottom part of carb) clean any gunge inside bowl. you will see 2 brass like screws in carb.remove them and blow through them. look to see if you can see through them.if so then assemble carb.DONE.
