Brake problems on Astra 1.4 L reg?

I have renewed every component on my braking system, pressure bled the system several times, but to no avail.
My front brakes lock up, but i have no back brakes. Hand brake works superbly. I really have changed every component.
New pads, front calipers, New master cylinder (twice !!!)
New rear shoes, new rear brake cylinders.I have even changed the servo out of desperation !!! New front brake pipes. Anybody got any ideas ????

some astras have a valve that operates with the suspension to control the balance between front and rear brakes, I suspect that this may be the problem

it sounds like you still have air or a leek in the system.
don,t use a pressure bleed system you waste far to much brake fluid and there is always some air left in the system.
goto your local moter shop and ask for a one man bleed pipe.
all it is is a small pipe with a slit at the bottom you put it over the nipple you are bleeding and the other end into a bottle or container undo the nipple and then just press the brake pedal making shore you keep the reserve full. and rember you dont have to tighten and release the nipple becouse the slitt dont let any air back in so just undo and pump antill all the air is out and then do the next side and then the back two.
