my vacuum keeps blowing a fuse?

BOSCH - PRO PETS 2000W
IT KEEPS BLOWING ITS FUSE - WHAT IS PROBABLY WRONG
JOYCE CUNNINGHAM, July 2009
It will be taking too much current - the most probable cause will be the motor unless you've managed to damage the cable with over enthusiastic tugging although a cable fault, although possible, is unlikely to cause a persistent fuse fault.

If it's the fuse in the machine's plug that's blowing it needs to be a 13A (Brown) fuse in the UK but a 10A fuse should be OK. Closer to 20A for 115V power.

If the plug is not a moulded-on one you might examine it to check for a stray wire fault - it does happen especially if the operator is a "tugger".

Good luck...
