We were sent new plastic step lugs for inside the drum as the old ones had fallen off. There are 2 rows of three flanges on each 6 inch long plastic lug and it appears they fit into the 6 rectangular holes in the drum and then slide into a narrow adjacent regtangular hole so the flanges hold it tight. Problem is a single flat piece of the another metal lug in the drum itself is, between these holes and is pointing inwards and stops the sliding process. It can be bent flat but then it does not stop the plastic lug sliding back out of position. How do I mount the plastic lug?
