Hi, Neither of my keys are locking or unlocking my 02 plate Laguna. Originally one locked and one unlocked the car and I had a read on some forums to try to fix it...

they said.. "put key in... hold down C/L button for 15 seconds, the doors should lock and unclock and there should be a beep, after the beep press both buttons on the key and this should resolve the problem."


However, on doing this the doors did not lock and unlcock, there was a beep so I carried on, now neither keys work. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem, I am driving to Euro Disney with my family soon and would like to be able to lock the car and not return to the car park to find it missing.


I have replaced the batteries but this does not work either.

My book says the system can only be re-programmed with the correct diagnostic equipment (ie Renault dealer!!)
