air bag warning light?

My warning light dont go out although as far as I (a novice) can see nothing wrong - I dont want an air bag can I disconnect the light ? Many thanks

I wouldn't go down that route personally, but have a look under the seats to see if there are any pretensioner wires adrift....they are on the same circuit as the airbags and can cause the lamp to be lit.
