Look on bottom of fuel tank where the fuel line goes in tank for what looks like a washer up close to tank. Some are white. Pry it loose away from tank, being careful not to break. Go from side to side and slide it off the hose. You will see the end of the filter with hose attached. Cut the hose off . You cannot pull it off as there are barbes on the filter connection. Remove all of the hose from the connector and push filter up through tank. Get a long piece of new hose and push up through bottom of tank and out through the top where the cap goes so you can slide the hose on the filter assy. This is realy hard to do, so be careful and dont break the filter assy. Push hose over all the barbs. Pull hose with filter attached back down in tank with hose from bottom of tank and pull on line untill you see the end of filter assy start through hole in tank. Make sure it is straight and continue to pull until the connector to filter is through hole in tank. It will be realy tight. This is what seals the connection. Take the piece that looks like a washer and slide it over the hose and up to the tank and work it over the barbed portion of the filter assy and hose until it is snug against the tank. Your finished and should not have a leak.
