Will my car fail an MOT with a broken rear wiper?

My rear wiper doesnt work...you flick the switch and it doesnt move. Will this fail the car on its mot?

If I remove the wiper arm, so it "hasnt got a rear wiper" will it still fail its mot?

rear wiper is not part of mot ,

The MOT says if it is fitted it must work!! but I've never known it to be mentioned in a failure notice, I think it would have to be very strict or bored tester to fail for this, I would remove the arm and if it is questioned say some kids must of knicked it during the night!! ;-)
