Wipers not working?

We have a 1999 Galaxy and the wipers stop working when turned on, sometimes they awork intermitently or not at all
Can anyone please suggest an answer, have already changed the wipers, i think its to do with the motor

This happend on my car - the motor bolts had worked lose and the motor was rocking about and causing the linkage to jam up - sometimes ok for a few wipes and then all stop and then half a wipe and stop again.
