how can i fix my creda TCR14 tumble dryer?

my tumble dryer is a self condensing one and has always been great but now it will commense drying as normal and there is heat present but after about 3 or 4 minutes of drying it cuts out and will no longer work at all. however if the appliance is left for a while, on pressing the start button it now continues to work fine but only for a few minutes before it cuts out again.

It's the relay, take the top off look inside at the front next to the dial & buttons, you will see an oblong block with about six wires coming out of it (usually made of brown see through plastic)this is the relay. to make sure this is at fault switch the dryer on & watch the relay carefully, if it flashes at the same time as the machine stops then this is the problem. you will needto mark the wires so you know where they go & it's a bit of a fiddly job, use a magnetic screwdriver or you will drop the screws inside the machine.
