My grass strimmer has stopped working the power is on but the motor wont spin, what could be the problem, can anyone help?

The problem could be...

Socket it's plugged into - defective
Plug - fuse in it blown or loose wire
Cable - damaged by trim line
Switch on strimmer not working
Loose wire in body of strimmer (doubtful)
Motor - defective
