burning smell and wierd noise?

i turned my car on this monrin, i have a burning smell and a wierd loud noise coming from what i thought the aultinator but after furhter investigation it seems to be coming from ti black cox behind where you put the oil into the enginer????

the loud nise gets louder as i accelerate.

just an update on this........

the burning smell and noise has now gone.

but mybattery light has come on red on the dash and it says stop so im thinking this is the aultenator?????

any help???
