Can the elements be replaced on a dualit Lite toaster?

One of the elements on my Dualit Lite toaster has blown. Dualit don't sell spares for this model and say it can't be repaired as the elements are part of the circuit board.
Has anyone managed to repair a Dualit Lite if so with what "generic" type element?
