We had a problem with changing gear and took it into a local garage to take a look at it to see what was wrong before we part exchanging it.

When it was returned it now makes a loud cluncking doing when putting the clutch down and changing gear.

The garage said they had done nothing, but obviously concerned when we have to part ex the car.

sounds like an engine mount broken or worn?? wouldnt worry too much as salesmen rarely drive the car or even look under bonnet of trade ins.
