does anyone know what the warning light on the dash board
next to the screen washlow indicator is for on a Y reg ford Focus estate ghia. also engine gets very hot have checked all the usual things oil water etc

If you are asking about the light which can be found on the trip/fuel computer at the left hand side of the instrument cluster (UK Model), it is an ice warning light. There are two warning lights, the left one tells you when you are low on screen wash and the right hand one illuminates when the temperature is less than 5Deg Celsius. It looks like a snowflake when lit up.
