There will be cold spots inside the cabinet - my nearly new fridge was set to +5º C and ice would form on the cooling plate at the back - ok since I turned it up to 7.
The coldness will not be equal throughout the fridge box and the control setting will not be acurately calibrated - just approximate - the temperature will also vary up and down as the machinery cycles on and off.
You may have a fault however if it still continues to freeze up after you turn the control to a warmer setting.
