where to pull 120v for selenoid valve ?

someone replaced a selenoid valve on my dishwasher but never hooked up the electric to selenoid valve, where do i get 120v's for valve at? where does it get power from? the plug is on at the valve, but the hot side of the valve is unpluged passed the plug at the valve itself

This is odd - the wires should be there - in the machine - he would have needed to remove the wire connections on the original solenoid and left them dangling around while the old one was taken out and the new one fitted. Then the wires can be attached to the new solenoid - unless - unless the person doing the work removed the original wire.

I would get back to the guy who first pulled the wires off - ask him.

Good luck...
