Service light on a volvo v 40?

Just tried to reset the service light on my v40 but it is still on .does having the onboard computer make any diffrence. many thanks Kevin

try this way it worked for s60:
ignition key to 0,
press odometer button and turn key to position ||
"!" will start flashing keep holding odometer button for no longer then 4 sec.
service light should be reset!
