skoda felisia exhaust help?

i got the above car for my mum, the exhaust needs replacing, i have managed to remove all bar the down pipe, because it is fixed on to the sensor by a nut that wont budge, (grrrr), i have tried heating it with a blow torch, wd40 and even hitting it with a hammer, any advice, or tips on how to remove the last section

much obliged for any advice

i'll go with john opinion disconnect the wiring jack plug to the sensor, now remove the whole of down pipe section and mount in a vice, keeping the sensor on the bottom float some vinegar down inside the exhaust enough to fill the sensor hole allow this to soak.(the longer the better) get a large ring spanner on the(sensor nut)and a 2 foot piece of pipe over the end of the spanner something will now give due to the leverage present.

Presumably you mean the oxgen sensor is holding things up? Normally you'd heat these things up red hot - breaking them in the process - to get them out.....it could be an advantage to take the pipe off at the manifold and get it on the bench?
