my bosch exxcel 1200 isn't draining or spinning, how can i fix it? Also not sure how to remove the filter. I have had to maually drain the drum of water using the pipe but am not sure how to check filter or what to do next, any ideas?

You'll find the filter next to the drainage pipe on the bottom right hand of teh machine behind the flap. It is a circlular disc with a bar running through the diameter as a handle. Once you have drained the drum of water unscrew the disc (have a towel on the floor just in case there is residueal water) and after a few twists the filter will come out of the machine.
