nissan almera ?

Can any one help me with my nissan almera 2000 1500cc i cant get EML off. I have been to several garages saying diffrent things and not fixing the problem. I have had the timing chain replaced, coil ht lead, cam sencors, and had 3 diognostic test all from diffrent garages saying diffrent things now they saying the ECU needs replacing but no one picked that up early after i have spend over 600 pounds so fix the problem but it still runs about the same as it was. It slows down after changing gears it has no power at all for a 16v and stills feels like the engine is still missing.

have you tried the lamba sensor? i had this problem on my old vauxhall astra, some "mates" fort it would be a laugh disconnecting it, it never caused damage but made my car feel sluggish and EML light always on. once re-connected everythin was fine. Lamba sensor tells the ECU how much fumes coming out the exhaust so it can react by allowing less or more into the engine, if its disconnected the ECU has to guess.. diagnostics found the problem for me, that would be ur best bet too i think. good luck :D

Jackie lets start again - this thing is running away with you. The timing chain is notorious for giving problems on these as it throws sensors out of alignment.
However, your light is on. So, get a garage to clear the fault codes with a scanner, and then do a dynamic test on the car - ie driving it along with a scanner connected. The new fault codes can be read, and maybe you'll get somewhere. Maybe a Nissan main dealer could be the best bet here...and thats unusual for me to say that!
