The ENGINE SYMBOL LIGHT is coming on every 4 weeks on my 03 FORD FIESTA. I have replaced the exhaust sysyem and had the cat convertor and sensors checked, yet this continues to come on. Any ideas what it could mean ?

I've had that done a month ago and it came up with some kind of emmissions code, hence the exhaust system, which I was replacing anyway, and the guy checked out the cat convertor and sensors and said they seemed ok. Got car booked in on Friday for diagnostics. Car is running fine though. No driving problems, yet ??!!

Hi David, the only way to find out is to get the car connected to a diagnostic code reader, any good independant garage or tyre & exhaust places have the kit around £20~30 main dealer £120+ !!!!
