hotpoint aquarius replacement drum bearings?

having removed the pulley wheel how do I remove and replace the drum bearings and seal
Dave, July 2009
Read this first to know what you are letting your self in for changing washer bearing is a major job.
you will need to remove everything that's in the way of the drum coming out, make notes, drawing's of EVERY wiring connections or pipes DIGITAL CAMERA GOOD AT THIS POINT.with the drum out separate the two drums pry out the rubber seal then from the opposite side knock out the bearing using a bar and hammer, protect the front drum face by supporting on wooden blocks turn over and knock out the remaining back bearing ensure the bearing seating are not damaged offer the new bearing into place and gently tap in squarely to the housing until bearing is down on the shoulder, turn over repeat for the other side fit the new rubber seal
now the fun bit every thing you removed needs to be refitted hence the pictures ,diagrams etc no bits left over no wires left off,
GOOD LUCK
