how to fix the heater in a renault laguna?

how do i get hot air blowing through the internal fans,because at the moment i am only getting cold air,when the temperature gauge is on hot. renault laguna 1996 2.0i sport

can not get the main heater blower to opperate all controls
working cannot find fuse for live supply to fan
have changed fan moter
problem caused by turning ignition on several times
the fan cut out as the ignition was turned
the car had a faulty batery at the time

the spring thing u discribed are the resistors on the resistor pack the thing which u described as the resister it the thermel fuse. bridging a wire acrossed this will cause a fire hazzard!!!!! the fuse is there for a reason.

Check you have water/coolant in the radiator expansion tank, quick fix and easily missed

Renaults have a bad idea for there heaters there is a heater thermostat type thing located somewhere in the airbox for the heater matrix inside the car it,s got 3 springs and a resister on it the resister goes wrong so simple fix solder a bit of wire across the 2 terminals that the resister bridges and it should work.

Most cars ect if the heater hoses going to the heater core are both hot then you have a internal problem with the heater control cable not letting the flap goto full hot or a electrical problem with the heater control module not letting the heater go to full hot ...................if one hose is hot and the other isn`t you might have a heater core clogged up or possably a blown head gasket .....bad thermostate ect ect
