How can I repair my system after installing IIS?

I installed IIS on my Windows XP system. Afterward... I couldn't open web pages in new windows by clicking pressing shift; Outlook started to report a script error on startup; Access wouldn't open a database file; and VB .NET wouldn't start up.

What have I done?

Try System restore to fix the problem.

IF you installed from a windows cd check the disc for any dirt or damage as this might cuse a corrupt or broken file to be installed.
