1300cc pushrod engine? The pump is driven by the alternator belt, and its pulley is held on with 4 small bolts. Undo these before taking the alternator belt off - it helps to steady things. After that you can get at the water pump bolts to change it, but prepare for a minor flood unless you've drained the coolant off first!
