How do i fix the central locking on a vauxhall combo van?

I recently bought a vauxhall combo van the central locking worked but has now stopped working it won't lock or open the van using the fob. It will only work using the key. I have changed the battery n the fob but it till doesn't work.

switch on ignition ; the system will remain in synchronizing mode for 30 seconds. press any button on your keyfob the central locking system locks and unlocks . takeout key then try locking your van with the remote.
