Hotpoint tdc60p Keeps blowing capacitor?

My hotpoint tdc60p has had two new capacitors fitted by the repair guy now and it has blown them and i dont just mean stop working these things are melted. I have checked the motor and this is running freely. dose anyone have any idea as to why this may be happening. It will be going back to the repair guy but he dosnt seem to have any anwsers for me apart from swaping out the capacitor cant be doing this every couple of days.

Replaced the induction motor's capacitor (7uf) in our TDC60.

Same thing happened to us - it melted. Spoke to a different spares shop and was told that the 7uf capacitor is under-rated for the machine and recommended an 8uf, which we fitted. That was 12 months ago and no problems since.

The two main causes of premature motor run capacitors are temperature and electrical spikes.
Check the motor windings and their insulation is good, check the mechanical timer contacts are switching 'cleanly'. Has the correct specification motor capacitor been fitted? (Voltage / temperature rating / construction type)
