Scantronic 9800 battery ?

I have the bF fault and the battery in the control panel is a NP6 - 12 - all the other recommendations on here are for a 7a battery is this correct or should I source a 6a battery as direct replacement - would appreciate any help here . Thanks Neil

Neil when your battery was originally installed, they were made at 6amp with battery technology improving all the time these are now produced at 7amp. One day i imagine they will become 8amp. Its a bit like mobile phones and batteries, they used to be huge and now they are really small.
