how do i clean my carburater?

my carburater is clogged so i can't get the gas to get on the spark plug.how do i get the carburater to be unclogged?

remove it from the bike, strip it down as far as you can, remember which screw goes where and how many turns out it was. find this by lightly turning the screw in until it resists. Make a note of each setting. when you have done this soak the carb in parafin for about a week. then dry off and using an electronic car pump, blow out all the holes you can see. make sure all the muck is off the carb. (do not poke at things with wire or screwdrivers as this might alter the hole size. make sure there are no deep scratches on the slide and the neddle is not bent. I use carb cleaner and a cloth to clean most things. put every thing back once you have cleaned all the jets and screws. Not forgetting to set them as they were when you took them off. now it should be ready to refit.
