Zanussi WJD 1667W?

Does not heat up the dryer. I had this problem before and cleaned the condenser which resolved the problem. This time, no error message, water valve opens, after 1 min or so the motor over the condenser runs. Last time I bought a new element but did not need it but I have now fitted it and still no joy. Any ideas please.

Thanks CK- Have found what I presume to be the reset, a reddish brown knob between two terminals. It does not seem to want to move in any direction. Having fiddled with it the heater still does not work. I have put a tester on he element terminal when the dryer is calling for heat and they are all live. Do you think the new element is faulty?

have you pressed the heater reset stat on the dryer aluminium duct?.remove the lid and you will see it on the side towards the back
