How do I keep my lawn tractor from cutting off when I engage the blades?

I have a Yard Machine Lawn Tractor (Model: 13BH670FO62) w/ 13HP & 38" deck. When I engage the blade, the engine begins to sputter and will cut off. When it sputters, if I disengage the blade in time it will continue to run fine. Is there some type of adjustment that I can make to prevent this from happening?

Make sure the gear is in nuetral or in drive completely, also make sure the kill switch that is located under the seat is connected.

There is a safety switch that will kill the engine when engaging blades ....if it sees a problem ..proably just a bad switch
