Renault Clio - Difficulty in starting when engine is warm?

I have a 1998 Renault Clio 1.6 RXE Atomatic and I am having difficulty stating it when the engine is warm - it turns but doesn't fire.
It starts perfectly from cold.
I thin this may be a fuel supply fault, but I really don't know.
Any suggestions out there
