there is a white pin on the door which goes into a hole in the machine which i think tells machine door is closed that seems 2 b the problem wot do you reckomend

ok every door on appliences has a pin to tell the machine it is closed---do not mess with this safty device!!!!!!!!!! sounds like either your socket is wired incorrectly or the plug on machine---try pluging it in to a diff socket------ let me know
