How can i stop my dryer tripping the mains?

Hi, My hotpoint VTD20 keeps tripping my mains power supply any what the fault could be and if you have repair instructions they would be welcomed too.

it needs to be on its own breaker - make sure it is not on a mini-breaker or the outlet is being "shared", or divided to other outlets. It may require a 220 line.
