2001 isuzu trooper 3l deisel?

i have squeeling noise when i start the engin but stops after it gets warm

Slipping alternator belt. Had this on my trooper, found the adjuster at max travel. From memory pig to change belt even though I have a fully equipped workshop. You may be lucky with adjustment.
