How can I fix a Tiffany breadmaker?

Recently, the mechanism that drives the kneading blade of my Tiffany BM-838 breadmaker failed.

The motor still operates but the link between the motor and the kneading blade has failed.

All other aspects of the breadmaker operate OK.
