washer not going into spin mode?

when my bosch 1400 classix comes to the spin part of the cycle it dooesnt spin

first check to see if it drains the water out if not check the drain pump small cover at the bottom front of the machine.
if it is draining but wont spin then it will be the brushs in the motor if its more the 5 years old.
