can anyone help. . i seem to have a problem with my dishwasher. When i put it on it washes for about 20 seconds then goes straight to washing/drying so it misses the complete cycle.

This is a problem caused by the programing unit. this timer as they are otherwise known controls the order the machine does things. If it has developed a fault it would cause this among other commonly seen problems. The board would need replacing but to be honest. for the cost of the repair and the board it may be as well to look into a new dishwasher.
