is there dirt in my carb?

i have a hyundai coupe se. ran out of petrol but did not no that, i then turned the car over a good few times. before i caught on there was no petrol in the car. put petrol in the car and it started . turned the car of and then tryed to start the car again.but would not start. let the car sit for twenty mins, and then the car would start. is there dirt in the carb.

No, because your car has fuel injection, there is no carb!
There is a small chance the fuel pump has been damaged by running it dry, but I wouldn't expect this in your case.
As long as the car is starting OK now, and there are no running problems orwarning lights on the dash, you should be fine.
Depending on the age/mileage/service history of the car it might be worth changing the fuel filter.
