How can I repair damaged corner of oak table?

I am stripping an old oak table, with pull-out extensions, and need to restore some of the corners which are damaged. Can you please advise how to do this?

I think to restore oak that is chipped is a bit of a tall order...however, consider having the corners gently radiused, or maybe having a sliver of wood cut away from the end, getting rid of the damage that way? It really depends on how severe the damage is!
