how can i fix my bissel powerwash proheat carpet cleaner?

my bissel powerwash proheat carpet cleaner is not letting the water and shampoo through to my carpet it only comes through with the hand held hose you can suck the water up ok

Anne, Just had the same problem and I found that the heater unit in the upright section was blocked. It's fairly easy to take apart and clear.
