LT 155 John Deere lawn tractor?

Fuel
I have fuel dumping into the oil while the tractor is setting!I have checked the float and needle valve and they seem to be working properly! to check the needle valve I blew in the gas in take with the carb upside down and no air passed through! Anybody got any ideas!

Thank you all for your help and ideas! I finally found my problem it was the fuel pump and not the carb. I noticed a little oil in tne carb. when I took it off the last time so a light came on, lol I took the fuel pump off and looked at the diaphram and it was shot so thats where all the gas was coming from!

Thats a fair enough test Jim but fuel is obviously still leaking through so you'd best fit a new needle...in the mean time, a petrol tap in the fuel line helps!
