lawnflite 503,sit on mower, won't start?

have checked, battery and starter motor..both ok. checked fuse, all wiring and connectors, all safety features, seat sensor, brake sensor and blade safety. ignition looks ok, cleaned up all terminals. When sitting on, with blades up and foot brake applied, turn ignition key and don't even hear a click...could it be the ignition component?? any help much appriciated.

I had this problem and found the machine will not start on choke. If you are still having this problem contact me on email and I will tell you what to do

It could well be the starter solenoid at fault here....but it also sounds as if one of the safety interlock switches is playing up. Anyway, short out the two large solenoid terminals with a screwdriver or something. Prepare for a spark, and see if the engine cranks.
