it could be the egr valve ,lamba senor,maf sensor,co2 sensor or cat converter need to get it scanned

dear friend try this before you take to main dealer its easy!.
there is a product on the market called cataclean this is a liquid witch when placed into the fuel tank cleans all of the fuel system including the catalitic convertor and the lambarda valve[air mixture valve] thus reducing the exhaust gasses and the light should go out!.it also give the engine better fuel economy and more power...available at a good motorfactors CATACLEAN

Need to scan sytem for codes ....will need a scanner
yep they got ya again .....gotta take it to dealer or a local shop to find what codes are set or buy a scanner that can get costly //////////////$$$$$$$$.....they saw they weren`t getting the business after warranty went out and put another bug in the system ............24 years @ dealership .....
